i finally know who the guy with the very nice voice is. his name is john. he's rather good looking too. the si1 wen2 kind of good looking. then when he passed by my desk yesterday, he saw my samsung phone and he picked it up to compare with his A300. and concluded that my phone is better. hahaa, he's comical.

i dont have to work on monday! cos we are on a 5-day work week so monday's off is to make up for labour day holiday.
did reports today. damn comp keep going haywire because of my media player. i tink i overloaded it with songs liao.

tomorrow is facilitators' retreat.. a full day at NCLI. gonna miss the vj funfair. hope all u people out there have a good time at the fair. looking forward to meet up with everyone some time, havent seen everyone for quite a while.

oh i think the oc is a good show. dont be fooled by the (sometimes) rather slow plot. it's always explosive towards the end. and benjamin mckenzie qualifies as 'cute'. yeah. love the lead actress too. one hot babe. hahaa. love the soundtrack too. check out "california" by phantom planet, "dice" by finley quaye, "move on" by jet and "rain city" by turin brakes for starters.

damn, the short one hour i have been sitting in front of the comp, i have been bitten 4 times. look at them bloodsuckers.

think i'm gonna choose smu over ntu. today karen said something that helped clear my mind: she said that she feels that i have actually already decided where i want to go, it's just that i dont want to admit it and i'm looking to others for agreement that smu would be a good choice for me. and u know what? i think she's correct. that's my life, aint it? looking for others' agreement and acceptance. although i dont always show it. i'm gonna have to learn to follow my heart and for once, be clear of what i want.

ohgosh i almost died taking my basic theory test today. i am getting dumber. dumber - is there such a word? i tikam-ed my way through the test. think i only knew 2/3 of it. the rest, have to depend on all the scribblings done by previous takers. needless to say, i wasn't in a very good mood after the test. wished i had others to complain to after the test. she isnt really a good listerner under the uhm, circumstances just now. oh well.

debbie didnt come in today. uhm server down again today. and worse, the whole comp crashed. weijie had to come to fix my comp. and he practically dismantled the whole comp. the comp actually "spoke".. dont know wat he did. had lunch with karen (the smu 3rd yr student who's also a temp) and her friend celia. they gave me split views. celia said ntu is better, karen said smu rules. i'm split. h.o.w?

have finished downloading dirty dancing 2! yay.. hopefully going to get to watch these over the weekend:

had a weird dream last night. dreamt that i was chatting online. hahaa. definitely weird. wish it could be better though. and wish i had dreamt about the ending. it's weird when a dream is left hanging like that.

damn job agencies are blood and money suckers. they pay me $6 an hour. know what's the pay genesis offered? $8.50. damn $8.50. they take an obscene amount of money from me. and my pay is already so low.

yesterday's reports were a nightmare. cos system down, server down, internet down, i couldnt access anything until nearing noon. and oh what? reports were due 11am. so i had to rush them out. by the time i finished them, it was 2+.. lots of stuff to do at genesis. made lots of calls. to travel agents, to fedex, to sbf, to sim, to ask people to go for interviews.
and did i mention that my boss is very young? somewhere between 28 to 30. super rich. and as i've told bain, quite cute too. only problem? ---he's married. with 2 kids. and ceo means ceo. much more demanding than others. and today i heard that it's his wife who's very rich. ohh.. okayy shant say liao

oh yeah, yesterday while i was walking the passageway at outram park frm nel to e-w line, i saw this positively c.u.t.e guy.. really cute. heehee. think he saw me looking at him thou. sheesh. '-_-''

have basic theory test tmr at 6.30pm. didnt really study anything for it. hope i dont fail. damn malu if i fail.

i realised that these few days, i have been hanging on to something said some time ago.
and yeah, it's a life saver sometimes. =)

yay have just finished my part of the games tingy for facilitators retreat..
nth much today, just that i watched the ending of 50 first dates again. dont know what's gotten into me.
then my bro made me watch 'the rundown' with him in the afternoon. he said it was funny. conclusion? nah. not even remotely funny. bah. waste time downloading it.
and because of that un-funny funny movie, i didnt have enough time to watch kill bill 1. *bleah*
tried to read 'cold mountain' in the afternoon but i over estimated myself. that book is damn hard to read.
oh yeah, times has featured 100 most influential people. they include george bush, kofi annan, nelson mandela, aung san suu kyi, osama bin laden, tiger woods, bono (from U2), lance armstrong, nicole kidman, outkast, the google guys, sepp blatter (fifa boss), kim jong il, jk rowling, peter jackson, jerry bruckheimer, mark burnett, simon cowell (?!?) and yes, david beckham. i wonder, where is colin powell, tony blair, queen victoria, gianni versace and even saddam hussein?
and they did an article abt f.r.i.e.n.d.s! which reminded me of... yes, joey and ross *gRiNz* and *wInKs*

tomorrow's weely report day. i have 2 sets of reports to finish by 11am. ohgosh help me. please. let me remember what to do for the report. please please. i am kinda lost. let it be smooth. ohgosh.

and oh yeah, i have just finished watching 50 first dates. man was it a heartwarming show or what. had me laughing like no one's business. especially how adam sandler tried his darndest best to get drew barrymore to pull over everyday. esp loved the penguin. and oh yeah, how the walrus burped his guts out at the fag. hahaa.

well, have finished 50 first dates, left with

started my new job yesterday.. it's at genysis education holdings at 9 shenton way. cool. finally a shenton way job. when i reached, the person whom i'm taking over, ricci, asked me to do some personality test thingy. it's the DISC thing but with a slight difference. then ricci told me what i was supposed to do. basically, i have to go to the boss (chin)'s room n switch on his aircon n put the newspaper on his desk. then take and transfer calls, help chin n debbie (hr manager) to open their mail, sort them n throw away the junk, help to reply mail, clear the boss's in and out tray, arrange the meeting times, book conference room etc. then have to compile the weekly sales report and executive sales report for boss. hmm. okayy la, everyone is still quite nice to me.

went for svap meeting in the evening. met bain at raffles city first. then hongyi n kel came. they're gonna be facilitators! yeah! love ya, babes! so we were talking and bain told me abt uhm.. the ninja story. heehee i'm impressed >_-' then we went to bbmac.. meeting was okayy, came up with the finalised list of games n programmes. and realised that facilitators' retreat is next saturday 1st may. pwoah.
me, bain n yv went to meet hy n kel after the meeting to eat uh, haagen daz.. yes, again! so sinful! but hy has $20 voucher mah.. so we shared a vanilla vanity n a divine. ooh mama itz good. oh yeah. think we polished off the ice cream in less than 15 mins..

went out with my dad n mum today. actually we only intended to go for lunch but my mum wanna go hougang mall to redeem some free stuff. in the end, it was me redeeming it.. avene soapless cleansing gel. oh yeah. i like the avene range of products =) after that, i couldnt resist walking into harvey norman to check out the digital cams.. went to see this way cool nikon coolpix sq. $399 plus $50 warranty with another free battery. usual price $699. the cam is like, how cool man. beyond cool. so tempted. dad offered to check with his friend to see whether he can get it cheaper. then my mum went to shop for groceries n i decided to head down to cheng san library. been more than a month since i stepped into one. borrowed "light of a day" by walter swift (it looked good) and "cold mountain" by charles frazier. went to cd rama to check out their prices. saw jet's cd, michael buble's cd, so many cds.. argh. had to tear meself away.

decided not to bet on man utd vs liverpool.
1) odds offered not good enough
2) no money to bet big
3) too lazy

went to my darling's house today =p
itz quite cool la.. i so like the swimming pool! and she was saying the booking of tennis courts is only $1 per hour on weekdays.. woah i wanna play tennis! anw, we were supposed to discuss stuff for the svap facilitators retreat but we were talking most of the time.. looked through vj yearbook together and we (or maybe it's just me) realised that actually the guys in our batch are not that bad - infact, there are some good looking ones but it's like, we never knew they existed back in vj. if you ask me, it must be the same-colour-as-the-wall uniform and the half asleep, half stoned looks most vjcians have :(
we did manage to come up with the list of things we have to do for svap and i'm proud to say that we took.... eh, 3 hours to do it. that's what you get when 2 girls get together in a house.. lots of talking on other stuff. hah.

recently, i have been reading some friends' blogs and i have come to realise that when i read the blogs of my closer friends, i have this tendency to smile at the screen. woah.
it's like, when i read that they're happy, or found motivation *wInKs at bain and hongyi* or they've gotten over some stuff and looking forward to others, i feel happy for them and i find myself smiling at the screen. it never used to be like this. so i guess i feel closer to them than i realised..
and sometimes, i have lost a certain kind of feeling when reading other blogs. dont really know how to describe it.. maybe it's just.. sigh never mind. i dont know how to write about it.

and yeah, been chatting with ed lately and i never realised how similar our tastes are.. to his cd collections: *stamp of approval* am waiting for u to get the hoobastank album man ;p

no i didnt watch this match cos i eh, sort of forgot about it due to the champs league semis between chelsea and monaco. oh monaco won 3-1 with 10 men. anw, saha scored again, and assisted in the second goal for (surprise surprise) gary neville to score.. and ruud van nistelrooy and louis saha are re-united in attack. cant say much cos i never watch it.. sure glad man utd won =)

back again.. nothing much today actually.. went to have lunch with my parents at leisure park near the national stadium. then after lunch, went with my dad to watch people bowl.. rather interesting cos my dad's commentary was comical..

newayz, read bain's blog about how unhappy she is with her brother and i cant help but feel a sense of deja vu.. darling, u're not the only one! my bro is also like that - hogging the comp chatting with frens and he just doesn't know when to stop too. until my mum threatened to unsubscribe from broadband, then he has to go and quarrel with her too. and sometimes, or maybe everytime, i just feel like giving him 2 tight slaps to make him wake up too. i think all younger brothers are like that. insensible. esp when they are at the sec 3 and sec 4 stage. u're not alone okayy. younger brothers... *bLeAh*

have received ntu's letter of acceptance. gotta think carefully now. hall life vs less result-oriented.. hmmm. on one hand, ntu has these to offer:
1) hall life
2) less project work
3) opportunity to do second major also
4) more friends...
and smu has these to offer:
1) less result-oriented - compensated by more project work
2) opportunity to do double degree or second major
3) more opportunities for overseas exchange
4) no lectures and tutorials
i think that for me, the friends factor is quite a huge factor. although it's true that i can always make new friends and that old friends will always be there as long as we make the effort but.. i dont know, i treasure my friends a lot and i really enjoy the company of my current friends.. it's a tough one.

oh and can i say this: the jamie cullum album is one g-r-e-a-t album! though its a jazz album, somehow the songs dont gel into one boring lump of impossible-to-differentiate jazz music. good. hmmm no regrets on buying that one. now the big question: should i get jamie cullum's previous album too? hahaa.. i didnt know there's such an album until the cute guy at the music junction counter asked me if i want it. hee hee.

damn i am pissed. work is delayed by another week yet again. i have this urge to curse but i shall not, shall restrain myself. violence begets violence - i truly believe in that. although this is only something small la.

anw, i have been whiling (is this how u spell it?) my time away at home, simply because i dont have the energy to go out.. so i've been sitting around the house watching tv and using the comp.. i dont know if it's only me but suprnova is down n somehow, my bit torrent has run into some probs so i cant download movies to watch.

talk about movies, i saw 'harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban' trailer yesterday and woah, daniel radcliffe is getting cute. hermione is pretty too. cant wait for it to show! saw lots of trailers before 'starsky and hutch' actually started and this is a list i've come up with to watch:

1. 50 first dates (i'm downloading it now. or rather, trying to download it)
2. jersey girl (cute! - both the young girl and ben affleck)
3. harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban (did i mention the grown up draco malfoy is not bad too)

oh yeah, show me the money. hahaa. oh yeah, have yet to go and find out where the pirated vcd dealer who supposedly operates near my house is. in fact, i have only found out that there is such a dealer on saturday. to think i have stayed in this area all my life.

hmmm went out yesterday and today too.. met bain, hy n kel to shop at taka yesterday.. spent abt 6 hrs at taka and wisma and all i got were a white speg and black top frm giordano n a black speg frm zara.. sigh. ohh hy brought us to perlini's to show us this single ring.. the ring has the word "single" cut into ut so it's like, ur finger shows up thru the gaps.. nice! but it's $32 thou.. so expensive for this kinda ring.. so we went to moshi moshi and to bits and pieces to check out the price of rings and engravings.. we decided to get our "single" ring.. tink we must have went in and out of bits n pieces at least 5 times.. n we didnt get any. lots of reasons.

then went to suntec for dinner.. i only expected yv, gb, jz n ed.. so pardon if i looked a bit surprised when i saw wein and mike too.. the food is okayy but i'm sick of fish n chips.. gonna try their pastas or macaroni next time.. after dinner, we decided to walk around n we eventually walked to esplanade.. if my memory never fail me, i havent been to esplanade since last june. i'm so un-arts.. walked aimlessly around.. and somehow as we walked, we split into small grps.. yv n jz, gb n mike n me, ed n wein.. had fun talking to ed n wein, esp when wein said abt guys in the army who begin to send msgs to gals whom they dont usually talk to.. n am tickled by ed's story of the piano.. hahaaha.. think their stories abt army are rather amusing, it's actually nice to hear them talk abt ns life.. n ed has this bad habit of touching my head. i know i'm short la n it's "convenient" hor. but i still wanna grow taller one. n u're messing up my hair. bad habit.. hee hee.. then gb n mike left and bain came to join us.. n bain was like "how come they left? i want to see my bro!" hahaa. n ed was dragged into it cos i told bain that wein said that ed bao3 zheng4 everyone's presence.. hahaa.. then yv left.. so ed, wein, jz, bain n i went to sit by the river, talked a bit then went to uhm... haagen daz to eat! how sinful!! eating 25% fat- ice cream at 11pm.. but man, was it nice.. mmm.. hahaa.. split for home at 11+ n missed the last train so me, bain n wein shared a cab home.. was really great hanging out with them..

today me, joyce, winston n licheng went to plaza sing to watch starsky and hutch.. it's so funny! hahaa.. very corny.. snoop dogg is da bomb! he is so cool.. n his asst is so smarty pants n funny too.. nice show. owen wilson n ben stiller work great together. esp the "dragons" scene. was reduced to a fit of giggles.. then we went to eat at ljs then went to shop arnd.. i was so tempted by so many cds.. wanted wu yue tian's album, wanted to buy coldplay's 2nd album which i havent managed to buy all those months ago.. then there's michael buble n jamie cullum.. eventually bought coldplay's n jamie cullum's albums.. looking forward to chilling out with jamie cullum tonight.. he's kinda cute. hee hee. bottom line is, i spent money again.. just cannot control myself. sigh. which is why i should work. oh bother. newayz, turns out that joyce bought "just friends" by robyn sisman! yay.. i'm gonna trade my nicholas sparks for her robyn sisman.. had always wanted to read that book.

went for the smu interview today and for the first time, i can say i aced an interview =) or maybe i'm just plain tyco. i reached smu 15 mins early and to my surprise, everyone else were there already.. and i thought i was early.. went to write my essay after they verified my particulars.. todays 3 qns were:
1. beauty pageants and whether they do more harm or good
2. my deepest phobia is...
3. you are now 80 yrs old. write the proudest thing u would tell your grandchild (smthg like that)
so of cos i wrote qn 2.. at least i have first hand experiences.. was interviewed by the dean of accountancy and another guy.. they didnt ask me any gp-ish questions.. just stuff like why i chose s4 combi, why i chose smu, what i want for my future, why i decided to go for ocip in cambodia.. they seemed impressed with my comm service.. then i asked her abt double degree and stuff and she started telling me abt overseas business study missions, and second major in law, even described the law prof at smu.. then at the end of the interview, she just said i've got a place in smu, smu can provide the kind of education i want and in turn, i have much to contribute to smu etc.. so unless she's bluffing me *crosses fingers*, i've got a place in smu..

yv had her interview too.. hers was quite comical.. oh she said that one of her friend's friends has got an offer from ntu liao.. that's fast.. actually i'm still not 100% sure that i am going to smu.. cos stats really show that ntu has a higher percentage of grads who are alredy employed.. but smu really provides broad based and holistic education, more freedom, less mugging (compensated by project work thou), double degrees, second majors, overseas exchange program etc.. must think carefully on this one....

trisha finally called me today.. so i can start work at hsbc next tues.. it's for sure now. if they dua me again, i dont know what i'll do. maybe send a virus to them and crash their system. hah. ya right. as if i know how to do it.

anw, stayed up to watch Manchester United vs Leicester yesterday.. or shld i say realy this morn. havent watched late night soccer for a long time. since i dont have to work and stuff, i might as well make use of the opportunity. so yeah, i started changing the skin from abt 1.30am this morn. it's not done yet thou. i only made use of the picture, added a new table, shifted stuff here and there.. it's actually kind of fun changing blog skin. yv has changed hers too! go and see.. she's using an avril skin. uhm no comments '-_-"

not a good match to watch, i thought Man Utd played rather badly. starting linesup: carroll; g neville, brown, silvestre, o'shea; bellion, butt, scholes, ronaldo; forlan, saha. cristiano ronaldo was outstanding, so too was wes brown. the 2 bright sparks in a sluggish match. incoherent passing.. just like my language. anyway, the match was settled by a gary neville strike. yeah, the defender who scores once in a blue moon. last time he scored in a premiership match was in January 2001. the rest of the match was pretty boring.. almost felt like it was a waste of my energy to stay up to watch it.. but 3 points is 3 points, i'm just glad they won =)

did some housework today.. the opportunity cost of slacking '-_-" watched davis cup q-finals between switzerland and france.. saw the match between arnold clement (fra) and roger federer (sui), then the one between nicholas escude (fra) and Michel kratochvil(sui). okayy so i got no idea who the michel dude is.. but hmmm havent seen escude play for a long time. he's still as cute ;D the shaved head actually makes him look cuter! heehee.. anw escude won 7-3 (7/6), 6-4, 7-6 (8/6).. =) mmmm kinda got me feel like playing tennis again! and badminton too! after seeing susilo win the Japan Open in 2 straight sets..

anw, got smu interveiw tmr at 10.45am.. dad's agreed to send me there.. wondering what kind of questions they will ask thou. read from joyce's blog that sheya said the interviews were rather GP-ish.. abt SDU, Iraq war and the ABC brewery fraud case.. woah. think i better go and read up on more current affairs stuff. essay questions sound funny too. cant really remember what cheng babe told me but i can remember that i thought it was so weird.. then read from sue's blog abt the east is red, west is blue topic. gosh. and jz said his was stuff abt being cat.. gosh i can faint. hope it'll be fine..

anw, finally got to eat the famed fish soup from golden shoe.. hahaa.. joseph's treat =) thanx a lot okayy. itz really quite nice.. ate lunch in the office at the small round table with jo and meihui.. lunch was quite comical.. after lunch, ba gua a bit with meihui and jo, looked at their cd collection, tie collection etc.. oh and saw jo and shy ching's plants.. uhm i just hafta say this: one of jo's plant thingy looks like a mutated beansprout with a huge leaf.. hahaa..

newayz, all the talk abt wu yue tian with mh has got me listening to them again.. think i'm gonna buy their tian kong zhi cheng cd/vcd.. mmm.

MANCHESTER UNITED 2 - 1 Birmingham City
what a scrappy match. the football ain't pretty at all. messy tackles, broken passing, and add in Robbie Savage, u'll get a scrappy match. birmingham, managed by ex-MUFC great, Steve Bruce, hasn't won Man Utd for a long time.. last time they won outright is 1978 i think.. cant remember.. anw, birmingham got the leead thru granger's freekick in the first half. Man Utd then equalised thru a cristiano ronaldo header and louis saha scored with another header 12 minutes from time. 2 well taken goals which secured 3 points for Man Utd. okayy, 3 vital points.

Arse-nal play Newcastle tonite. hoping for Newcastle to win. then my bro will be happy. yeah. i'll be happy too. actually yeah, Chelsea drew 0-0 with Middlesbrough. that's the way.. btw, middlesbrough is managed by ex-MUFC asst manager Steve McLaren. ;p

uh nothing much to say, just that i'm pleased with Man Utd's performance. so u all will hafta read thru one entry worth of Manchester United. i'm wondering.. wondering what's going to happen.

went shopping with yv yesterday at bugis.. what a haul! hahaa.. spent $115.90 on 6 items, which works out to less than $20 an item so i guess it's worth it =) anw, bought a green skirt from bugis junction itselt that cost $29.90.. contrary to what yv and bain think, i dont think it qualifies as a mini skirt okayy. it looks mini but it's not! i dont have the legs are mini skirts. not to mention the guts. hahaa.. then moved on to bugis village where i just let loose and spend money.. bought one more pink skirt, one pair of jeans, one bag and 2 tshirts.. yeah so i exceeded my $100 target.. but i havent shopped properly for 2 months plus liao so... it's justified.

went for SVAP meeting at bras basah mac at 7.. me, yv, bain, gavin, cuiting, siewmei, vanessa and alvin were present yesterday.. havent seen seemeng in a long time thou. they said he was upset when we didnt go for the meeting on the day we got our A level results. apparently, he offered his shoulders for us to cry on but we didnt turn up. lol. he's crappy. anw, realised we havent got much time left to plan for the facilitators' retreat. hmmm. learnt how to play wei qi from alvin. he's so enthu about it.. meeting ended at abt 9+.. then took bus with alvin.. it was really nice talking to him. like talking to a younger brother. and realised he used to live opposite me! such a coincidence.. and we had a challenge about american idol. i was saying camille will get eliminated and he said jennifer hudson would go.. i won eventually. she cant sing la.

not feeling well today.. having a slight cold which has gone away now.. having a tummyache too.. could be that i ate something wrong yesterday. even resorted to taking 2 panadol extra to make it go away.. went to the toilet so many times that i lost count. hence, i didnt go to sentosa with yv and i didnt go out with her when she asked me to in the evening.

just now, gb was telling me about his ns life: look forward to breakfast, after breakfast look forward to lunch, after lunch look forward to dinner, after dinner look forward to lights out. hahaa.. every other nsf says that. oh yeah, hantu got into ocs.. glad for him =) and nic shifu was telling me about medic life last night. stuff about jabbing your partners and that next week, they're gonna have to be fed intraveneously.. gross. think i'll faint if i have to do that. i'm petrified of needles.

oh yeah, i dreamt of edwin shuai last night.. kinda weird dream but it was quite a nice dream all the same. i woke up smiling.. heehee.. haven't have that happening for some time liao.. ed, so have you registered for btt? are we gonna take it together? how cool it will be if we are..

and i watched rhcp's live concert on mtv yesterday again.. must have watched it on mtv for 3 times at least. cant get enough of their live performances.. as good as robbie william's. and yes, finally remembered that the title of the song is "under the bridge", not "very nice song but i cant remember the title". lol. rhcp rocks.

and oh yeah, i have found a nice tv serial to watch after smallville, friends and 24: the oc. yesterday was the 1st episode and it's good. great choice of music too. hmmm. and yeah, 24 II has started showing on axn. havent figured what's the plot this time around thou.. go watch the oc. it's good. parental guidance advised thou. film censorship board is especially efficient in singapore.

let's see what i did these past few days..

mon..
met up with jo and yv for lunch at marina square.. cheapo jo wanted to redeem some freebies.. went to espirit at suntec to buy some stuff first.. cost me $40. *ouch* but i think it's rather worth it and i need it anyway. after lunch, went to shop with yv in suntec.. nothing to much to look at actually.. topshop was rather disappointing. had an ultimate at coffee bean then walked to town to shop.. uhm the strap of my slippers broke while we were in taka so i had to buy new slippers.. gd excuse huh. but it was tough walking sliding along in broken slippers.. didnt see anything i fancied in taka and wisma so we went all the way to far east.. finally bought this strapped flats at heatwave that cost $19.90.. left for home after that.. called joseph at nite to ask him about ccod.. was rather confused.

tues..
went jogging in the morning.. jogged from the main road to bendemeer sec then was abt to head for home when i decided to kpo at the adventure centre cos some pri sch was having their camp there.. in the end when i was jogging down the stretch, i ran into lots of ppl from the ite.. i was so tired but yet i cant stop in front of those ah bengs.. so die die have to continue running even thou i was dead exhausted and my lungs were struggling for air.. i'll never run that stretch at 9am again.. anw, decided to take the hsbc job.. erm.. went to have lunch with dad then had wanted to go out with yv but it rained thus i dont feel like going out anymore. ended up chatting the afternoon away with edwin ong on icq.. havent been in contact with that guy since sec 4.. i only remembered his frens used to call him "ong kia". that's why i remembered him. anw he found my contact only recently. i lost his when my comp crashed way back in sec 4.. he's quite slack la, recovering from torn ligaments thus he's doing clerical work.. turns out he's in nee soon camp, which is where both edwin shuai and nicholas my shifu are at! so qiao.. (to bain: i really forgot how he looks like liao.. havent seen ed ong for 2 yrs liao)

was woken up at 8.30 by jo who msged to say arsenal has lost to chelsea.. thanx. oh yeah, am "suffering" from achy legs today.. sigh. went to meet yv at 10.30 at the playground near my house to pass her some stuff for her smu application. played on the swings for quite some time.. slept for half an hr when i reached home.. met with yv again in the afternoon to apply for our basic theory test.. my dad drove us there and back..

my legs are still painful now.. look at the pathetic state of my physical fitness =(

finally changed the blog skin.. i modified quite some stuff.. the original pic was really quite cute but i liked this one better.. plus i found the original order a little odd. see the original skin here.

anw, i cant get to sleep last nite cos i fell asleep from 7+ to 8+.. ended up msging joseph who was still awake cos he just watched passion of christ.. urgh i'm never gonna watch that show.. i'd rather watch the prince and me! heehee. and dream of prince william.. anw i finally fell asleep at abt 2.45am.. and was unpleasantly awaken by the phone.. i thought it was my mum but when i finally couldn't ignore it any longer, i went to pick up the phone and....... *automated voice*:"this is a fixed line sms service provided by singtel. you have just received a msg from 9*******........." or smthg like that. wah thanx man..

oh yeah, went to bet at score! with my dad.. bought man utd to win and either 3 or 4 goals to be scored.. then my dad bought draw after many protests from me and he said it's only because a draw's odd is 1:3.30.. but in case you didnt know....

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 - 0 Arse-nal
what a fine match. okayy so arsenal was rather off form. i mean, edu, vieira, pires, reyes and henry are all off form. how rare is that this season? i think between them, they barely had 10 shots on target. now that's bad.. man utd played very well, had more possession, more drive and more spirit. consider this starting linesup: carroll; g neville, brown, silvestre, o'shea; fletcher, keane, scholes, ronaldo; solskjaer, giggs.. not the best.. with solskjaer the only distinguished striker. but the goal by paul scholes was a superb team goal.. a great through pass to giggs who managed to stay onside and slice the ball back to scholes and wham! trademark scholes volley to give utd the lead. sublime. so on the whole, man utd won but i lost money.. it's okayy thou.. as i declared, i dont mind losing the total goals as long as i win the 1x2! yipee =)

back again.. went to chinablack with bain and hongyi yesterday =) *i also dont know why i put the smiley face* anw, yv dua us.. she said she has a headache.. i was kind of disappointed but then again, i understand the pain of headaches.. yvonne if u're reading this, if you dua us next time, i will join bain in killing you.. muahahaaha.. hope u had a good rest thou..

met with bain, hy and amber at sisley at abt 9.30pm.. was debating whether to go chinablack or zouk. cos zouk is hosting a party, free entrance and free 1st drink only after 10.30pm whereas chinablack is having ladies night, free entrance and free flow drinks.. in the end, we had to flip coin to decide, and chinablack it was. took bus down to orchard, then amber left us to join her friends at zouk. met ruoyun at chinablack's entrance then went to find nick and company after we deposited our bags.. come to think of it, i barely recognised the people present.. can only recognise nick, kevin, guangyi, yumin, tanny, grace and yiling. the other guys all look the same with the army hairdo.. lol.

had vodka lime and vodka cranberry for starters.. poor hy is allergic to alcohol.. after finishing the 2 glasses, me and bain went dancing.. dance floor is packed and kinda small but the music was quite good.. then we were joined by the rest of our company.. uhm some army guys came to dance with us.. i can only remember a guy telling me his name is richard and he's from nyjc.. bain says he's quite cute hahaa. he reminds me of a shorter and less cute version of chris kang.. ohh this other guy who came over first reminded me of nicky.. lol. anw, chinablack was full of caucasians last night.. all of them are so tall, i feel dwarfed. lol.

tink between me and bain, we must have had abt 8 glasses of alcohol or so.. but the vodka content is so little per glass, i only got a little high. high as in, just felt the need to keep on dancing, if not i think i will fall asleep.. think we danced for 2 hrs ++.. music was good except when they played techno..

left chinablack at 2.30am.. only then i realised richard and company are friends of nick they all.. platoon mates i think.. gosh. then when we were about to head off separately, richard waved but at that time, i truly could not recognise him as richard.. took me abt 2 mins.. well the dancefloor was dark wat.. shared a cab with bain, hy and guangyi and we all think that we stink.. hahaa.

watched the first half of england vs sweden when i reached home.. then went to sleep at abt 4, woke up at 10+ today and my coordination was shot. i did 3 dumb things:
1. put the bread in the toaster, started the timer and watched the timer run to zero and only realised i did not turn on the switch 5 mins later.
2. settled down happily to watch vcd but only realised i was watching disc 2 10 minutes later.
3. telling everyone that i did the above 2 dumb things.

so there. alcohol is bad for u. really. when are we doing it again? *wInKz*
