had Asoc retreat yesterday.. it was fun while it lasted la.. there were 5 gals in my grp.. me, vida, jaynette, crystal n diana. wah so happy to see vida! at least got one more familiar face! *whew* acty thru'out the camp, i feel like im the one raising the spirit of the grp. taught them all the grp games, funny songs, qian bian qns. a bit tiring.. thank goodness got vida to crap with me! my fellow slow-poke buddy.. bathe slow, eat slow, then forever sitting down. hahaa.
left the camp early cos no more night activities n today's game is.... papaya! urgh.. so might as well leave lor.. left with huiying at 10+.. had to pang seh pearlyn.. so sorrie leh..
finally start packing my room today.. cleared one part of my table. gosh i nv knew i had so much junk on my table! no wonder i cant seem to find space on my table everytime.. havent finish packing thou. im a horrible procrastinator =(

see my new current interest?? yoshikatsu kawaguchi! wah his superb penalty saves! practically pulled japan into the semi finals of the asian cup! but the win is confirm gonna be controversial cos the referee agreed to change the side of the pitch where the penalties r taken den from then on, jordan started missing all the penalties. it was like (japan first) 0-1, 0-2, (change side), 1-3, 2-3, 3-3.. sudden death - both sides miss the first shot den 4-3. so japan wins! happy!
and it doesnt hurt tt kawaguchi is so cute..

went clubbing yesterday with the smu peepz.. me, germaine, anna, ray, ln, edmund n kianseh. decided to go zouk afterall.. ln is seriously damn funny.. the hokkien he uses is hilarious lor.. we reached zouk at 10+ den just slack ard n waited for 1-for-1.. then i finally drank flaming lamborghini.. shared the 1-for-1 with ray. eh it was ok la, agreed that its overrated. then ln went to get 2 pitchers of long island.. by the time i finish drinking, quite seh liao.. went dancing..
then finally, finally met bain darling!! wah long long time nv see her le! ok, 2 weeks.. met her friends jianming n kevin (i think) also.. then danced together with bain.. ahh what a great feeling! miss dancing with her!
then we tried squeezing into phuture but gave up.. then i also cant really remember what happened la but i lost track of ray they all, so just danced with bain, jm n kevin. then we went to down a shot each.. continued to dance then went out to find ray, ed they all, only to know that ln has left.
eh.... went back to dance then left zouk at 3+ la..

hmmm had fun dancing last night.. think i kinda shocked the guys with my 'stamina' for dancing.. then ln kept challenging me to go up podium to dance in exchange for a tequila shot. of cos i didnt agree la. wah man, imagine ppl laughing at me.. *shudders* cos we're always laughing at the co-ordinated dancers on the podium at mambo.. heh heh..
then that jm.. really seasoned flirt.

today.. went shopping with kel again! rocks man.. met yv n kel in town.. then intellectual me decided to go library again.. borrowed james patterson's 'violets are blue' and 'four blind mice'.. hopefully i can finish reading them.. then we went to cine.. they only had one lousy timing for brotherhood so kel n i decided to watch house of flying daggers instead.. ahhhh takeshi kaneshiro!!! thx kel for letting me have the poster!
acty the plot is not very good. in fact, its the got head no tail kind but just feasting my eyes on takeshi is worth the $6.50 le!! just that im damn jealous of zhang ziyi la! heh.
then we went far east.. had dinner at hans.. then shopped frm 7+ to 9+.. bought 2 tshirts, a pair of shoes n 1 bag.. *sense of achievement*

haiz tmr got Asoc retreat at sentosa then just now, nx msged to say she wont be going cos she kenna rashes on her neck.. help! how am i going to survive? think my grp will most prob merge with another grp lor.. just hope that everyone is gonna be sporting! and hope nth of the ntu sports camp fiasco will happen.. finished packing le.. gonna zzz le!

went to smu yesterday.. met up with cindy, dikun, pearlyn, xiangrun, yvonne, huiying, serene, edmund n ed's fren sebastian.. the talk was quite off la, trying to sell us some managerial accounting text that comes along with some gradesummit thingy that is only gonna be valid for 6 months. feels like i've got my money sucked. sigh. $42 leh..
talk ended early so we went to eat brunch.. hy n serene didnt join us thou. then the guys tried to make us feel guilty for eating the butter with our waffles. hmmph. not gonna work la.
left them at 11.30 to make my way to pl for driving.. wah seh i almost had an accident towards the end lor.. this driver who's supposed to stop didnt stop then mr lim had to steer my wheel to avoid hitting him. *phew*
reached home n i was supposed to study for my advance theory but... fell aslp as usual. woke up just in time n left for queenstown le.. test was alrite la. didnt feel as bad as basic theory.. i dont think i did badly but then again, i dont feel v confident also.. 50-50 chance ba..
then on the train home.. i saw 2 cute guys.. 1 of them looks quite beng but still, quite cute.. the other one looks ave initially but the longer i look, the cuter he seems. heh heh oooopppsss....
at nite.. supposed to post in my forum but then i kenna added to so many conversations that i couldnt really post.. convos flying in fast n furious man.. got to know anna who's such a funny person!

and i slept the whole day away today! sighhhh.. woke up at 11+ then went to eat n watch tv.. then ate again at abt 2 then fell aslp frm 2.30 all the way to nearing 5! p.i.g.. just damn tired lor.. so paiseh leh, i pang seh others to slp.. haha..

talked to darling just now.. poor babe's gonna spend the nite alone cos emma's gonna meet her bf.. hmmmmzzz so long nv see her le.. miss ya lots!! hopefully we'll get to club together on wed!

back from sa camp yesterday.. camp was alright la. kinda boring during the talks and the games were stuff everyone played before but nonetheless, being games times, they were fun. and my groupmates and facilitator were the ones that made the camp interesting! had quite a mix of grpmates.. different personalities and all and even one transfer student from ntu. hmmm there were joan, susanna, corina, aiwei, andrea, jiahuan, qiaoling, siao tin, keith and gerald. and my facilitator's name is... elvis! cool name..
oh then joan, susanna and i click really really well lor and we agreed its a girls sch thing.. then we became known as the 'threesomes' hahaa. really funny talking to them. then its like everyone is linked in one way or another.. such a small world! it'll be fun to see the friendsters links! had a night hike from nacli to holland village. had like the b
best supper at one of the desserts house.. yum!
my bunk mates were sue, corina, aiwei n andrea.. we went over to the other room at 2+ to chat.. talked abt a lot of smu stuff, cold jokes and even racist jokes! muahahaaa.. went back to slp at 4+ cos too tired le..

today went to celebrate belated bday for mummy.. went to a restaurant to have dim sum lunch.. it was my treat n it cost me abt $65.. ahhhh. but it was quite good and its mum's bday so its alrite la =)

this week's schedule.. not really confirmed yet. i thought wed is a goner but now may hafta reschedule. tmr gotta go down to 3 places.. smu, driving and queenstown. taking my final theory tmr. hopefully it goes well.

met up with kelvina dearest to go shopping today! miss her so much!! met her at 2+ at orchard den we went to eat.. den actually we wanted to go library n borrow books. decided that we have to get our brains working again mah.. but when we walked past zara... temptation strikes! so we went in la.. shopped ard for a long time then we each bought 2 tops.. very nice lor.. i saw this black n white striped halter thats super nice but its $60 :( then we went mango.. *tsk tsk* the power of shops.. bought a top there too.. saw eugenia at accessorize.. then we finally went to the library.. kel borrowed nic spark's 'the guardian' n i borrowed 'roses are red' by james patterson.. kinda hopped onto the james patterson genre le.. think that 'kiss the girls' is quite a good book (i read till 4am last nite!).. then after tt we went to topshop. saw weiting there! long time nv see her le. oh then at topshop, kel n i locked targets at the same pair of denim skirt! so nice.. but so short n so expensive..

then after that we walked to heeren for the wallet shop.. shopped ard then i left to meet my asoc retreat group mates.. ningxia is in my grp! so happy to see a familiar face! then crystal frm s23 in my grp also.. my facilitator is kieren who so totally reminds me of alvin. better build la but the yan2 xing2 ju2 zhi3 is quite similar to alvin.. really hope asoc retreat will be fun!

going for SA camp tmr! chatting with eric now n he just told me to be prepared to not sleep at all during the camp.. expected le la.. just that tmr hafta climb the hill at nacli. sigh.. hope its gonna be a fun camp.. i'll be back on sat!

i'm back! not as if i've been away for a long time but yeah, i'm back! *not making sense*

went night cycling yesterday with my smu friends!! its the first time i went night cycling.. serious! and its the first time i actually cycled since the ubin incident! quite proud of myself actually.. heehee..

met pearlyn, xiangrun and ray at 6 then went to mac at ecp to have dinner.. ate for a super long time and talked a lot while waiting for edmund to come.. then we went to rent our bikes. decided to cycle to bedok jetty and wait for simon and germaine but the 3 guys couldnt resist the food centre so they went to have their 2nd dinner.. picked up germaine at abt 10.30 n went to meet simon at 11+.. then we decided to bike to esplanade and eventually end up at boat quay.. nice suggestion! from then onwards, it was non-stop biking..

simon n xr were leading the way the whole time cos xr drives so he knows the roads better.. acty i was a bit scared cycling alongside the cars but its so fun.. not a lot of cars so eventually i felt a lot braver.. cycled for abt 2 hrs plus before we reached esplanade at 1+.. it was a total relief to sit down cos our butts were aching like crazy! sat at the stage area then talked a lot of crap.. a lot of topics then we decided to organise a clubbing outing for our forum ppl next wed.. exciting! then simon left to go home then we decided to cycle to glutton square to eat.. woah cycling past smu's city campus and plaza sing is really quite something man.. had supper at glutton square then we started cycling back to esp at abt 3.. finally reached the bike rental shop nearing 5am i think..

then... we went looking for toilets and eventually ended up at the pool place.. and started playing pool. too hiong already.. esp edmund who hasnt slept for more than a day.. oh then there was this games machine beside our resting place that kept playing super irritating 'machine music'.. super irritating until we made jokes out of it. real funny..

finally left ecp at 6.. reached home n k.o at abt 7+. slept all the way til 2pm den had to wake up cos i got driving at 4.30pm.. today's lesson is pretty good i think. i only stalled once and that was like on the main road! damn kan chiong when i stalled lor. i was like 'shit shit!'.. ya then mjc had their sea sports carnival at kssc den all those who saw me driving were like quite shocked to see a young driver. got one even laugh at my u-turn attempt.. meanie! then drove out to paya lebar there and eventually to eunos mrt station.. interesting one hour!

luckily today never go clubbing.. how to dance with a painful butt??? and sore palms to boot..

anw, i got my letter from smu abt pow wow camp le.. im in group 104.. anyone same grp as me? there are sooo many grps.

i just realised next mon is my advanced theory n im not even halfway thru the book. sigh i must study for it. really dont have the xian2 kong4 to go register for it again if i shld fail (touch wood).

have finished reading nicholas sparks' 'the wedding' le.. yeah a 'love love love' book. but very sweet. typical of nic sparks. now reading 'kiss the girls' by james patterson. a really addictive book. read til almost 4 last nite.

im feeling a bit sian half now. kinda in a 'dont bother me' mood. but also in a 'i wanna have fun' mood. sigh.

plus my darling bain is away at hall camp frm tmr till fri after coming back frm her union camp. double sigh. miss ya lots darl!

on the bright side.. camps r starting. really hope its gonna be fun.

hmmm went shopping with my mummy yesterday.. spent a lot of money! sighz. finally finally bought a new pair of sports sandals after procrastinating for like, forever. cost me a bomb =( then i'm supposed to buy slippers/sandals that i can go out shopping in but as usual.. ended up not buying them but instead, bought a lot more other things instead! argh! OOH i bought a pair of red shoes from dmk! cheap! $23.90.. nice! heehee.. then i bought board shorts again. bascially spent $100++ yesterday.. this cant go on.
and i realised got ppl owe me money! cab fare.. and money for the tequila shots at zouk. haiz shall get them to treat me next time. cos i believe tan2 qian2 shang1 gan3 qing2.

anw, had the svap forum at ncss today. progress was alright. in fact gavin said it was good, better than last yr. but.. *guilty* i fell asleep during kelvin's talk. *guilty* cant be helped.. im damn tired. lately i cant get to sleep til like 3am everyday.
felt so tired after the programme ended that i couldnt be bothered to find out where the others are going. i mean, the rest of them dont seem like they're going anywhere fun and exciting.. den hm kept asking if we wanna go indochine.. madness. later end up only me n him how? i'll cry! hahaa. and anw don feel like drinking alcohol.

oops i realised i havent sent my powerpoint slide to project crush. hope they accept that sunday is the end of the week!

hmmm just now my facilitator from asoc retreat just called to ask when i'm free to meet up for grp dinner.. my grp's supposed to have 6 ppl. hope its gonna be fun!! cant wait for camps to start! =)

its beena busy 3 days..

had driving in the morning.. sigh the poor car stalled so many times! hahaa.. but this time, we drove a bit further, even did u-turning (which was a bit scary)..
then i went to smu for my project crush training.. was quite okayy.. listened to yet more lame jokes thx to our trainer nigel..
it rained heavily after training ended so me n yv shared a cab to queenstown. tt gal was taking her btt so i waited for her to finish her test. then i went down to nyc for svap meeting with cuiting, siewmei, gavin n travis at the inqbuzz. quite cool..

wed..
went for part 2 of training.. it lasted till abt 6+..
met huiying, vanessa and tiffany at night. havent seen tiff in a looooong while! she's back on a holiday.. uhm vanessa's godbro was there and he said he seen me before. and ya he does look familiar, just couldnt recall where i've seen him..
we went chinablack at abt 10.. and guess what?? ntu union camp ppl were there! saw lilian, si jia and bain darling! what a surprise can! black was real crowded last night.. had 2 vodka limes and a bourbon coke den left for zouk. zouk/phuture.. crowded as usual la. but i've seen worse hahaa.. downed a shot at zouk. sigh now even shots have not much effect on me. had a great time laughing at the co-ordinated dancers (esp after reading the article on funkygrad).. den went phuture. seriously its ren2 ji3 ren2 man! so damn crowded. but music was good as usual. but they didnt spin usher.. *bah*
left at abt 2 cos tiff had to go.. all in all, had a really great time last night! almost forgot how fun mambo can be hahaaaaaa..

today..
woke up nearing noon! n i had to be at smu at 1.30pm haha. made it in time.. had some hands on and then games today.. so i got to know 10 more people. including faye. erm ya. stupid hantu caused me to be biased! but she's okayy la.. played uhm the hands n feet game den some numbers game and a strategy game.. quite fun. oh i was in the same grp as elton who seriously looks a bit like jianbing! my first thought was "oh like jb korkor!"..
then we had the ceremony thing.. oh yeah talked to this guy called victor who was frm vj and when i told him that our batch has lots of vj gals in smu, he said his batch got lots of vj guys at smu too! so smu is gonna be flooded with vj people man.. in project crush alone, there are 7 vjcians. hmmmm...

oh yeah, caught a bit of the oc on ch5 just now. and as i expected, they censored the portion where luke's dad kissed his gay business partner. hahaa.

spent the whole day compiling the evaluations for SVAP's june programme. *even bigger headache* seeing stars now. n i'm not finished yet.

oh yeah got a surprise msg yesterday. certainly didnt expect it. but its a pleasant surprise ba i guess.

just remembered vanessa frm svap is under gary chan.. can ask her help me pass "pirates of the carribean" back to gary. then can also ask her help me pass a letter to him also. great.

hmmm been feeling like clubbing. but no time this wed if i get throught the c.r.u.s.h interviews. which i think is most likely the case. well at any rate, i've a (very tentative) date with vanessa (not frm svap) to go music underground on thurs. but.. see first ba. nothing is confirmed.

something is wrong.. i am currently feeling too lethargic to go out! this seldom happens.. esp on a saturday! i feel a little no life to be home on sat but at the same time, i cant be bothered to find something to do. town is getting boring.. its just the same old places everytime. sigh~ so i've decided to take a leaf out of jo's book.. her nick on msn: "with good music.. anything goes.." so yep.. playing some of my fave rock music now. doesnt feel too bad to stay at home after all =p

uhmz went to smu on thurs for the career services orientation thingy.. wasnt too bad. the morning talks were ok.. but the afternoon one.. kinda boring. oh oh saw celine! she was sitting beside us but i didnt recognise her until she intro-ed herself as celine from tj.. then it struck me.. wols sia.
then we had this cool talk by biotherm on skincare etc.. way cool. then we were given some free samples and a $10 biotherm sample.. and an invitation to gp for some biotherm workshop or sth. didnt read properly. then had the session on ontrac.
went for the project c.r.u.s.h interview at biz block.. saw sylvia! wow that makes it 8 frm 4m.. me, ningxia, tsetiann, yvonne, sylvia, xiangyun, liqin n lydia! oh then we saw sharifah.. n earlier we saw caroline, cecilia tan they all.. really cedar unite man.. interview was fine.. tink we should all get through..

had my first driving lesson on fri!! damn exci-ring can.. hahaa. actually its quite an easy session ba. mainly just drive around the carpark at the stadium then drove around the stadium. plus i drove illegally before so yup, yesterday was quite ok. looking forward to 2nd lesson on tues!
met celia in town at 3.. vanessa was like locked in her own home la. haha. shopped around taka n wisma. then we bought a fila polo shirt each. mine's red and her's blue.. nice nice. met v at abt 6 den yy came at 6+.. went to nydc to eat (again!).. we ate A LOT can! lemme see.. shared 2 plates of baked pasta, one mudpie and one cake n we each had a drink.. so sinful! walked around town after dinner.. saw wt at cine! apparently she just got out of her nbs camp. i almost didnt recognise her.. then we eventually walked to ps.. sat around and talked until it began to rain den we went home le.. was absolutely tired out when i reached home..

oh yah! watched some track n field meet thingy on ch22 just now. and saw this ethopian guy break the world record for 10000m race. damn zai man. he practically sprinted his life out for 10000m! think his timing was 26:40+ min.. broke the record by 2 seconds. the whole stadium was cheering him on n he was given a HUGE standing o after the race. super.

i finished reading 'the da vinci code' le.. couldnt sleep last night so i read and finished it at abt 3+ in the morning. hmmm actually i thought the plot was a bit unbelievable. i mean.. the priory of sion, the story of jesus christ and mary magdelene.. a bit too out of the world le. i can believe that opus dei does exist n priory of sion may exist.. but the thought of leonardo da vinci, issac newton, victor hugo all were part of it? difficult to accept. and the last supper will never look the same again. the ending was a bit surprisingly initially but now to think of it, its the most logical ending. it cant possibly be an ending where the story of the holy grail is exposed and the world descends into chaos can it? nonetheless, the ride was really good while it lasted.
anyone has 'angels and demons' by dan brown?? pls pls lend it to me!

oh yeah, i just remembered i 'owed' darren a 'book review'! tuesdays with morrie.
hmmmm i agree with....bain! i think its a good book. contrary to ed describing it as boring. its a somewhat inspirational book. deals with death in a positive way. i enjoyed it cos i myself view death the way morrie does. that when someone is going to die, we should accept it. let the person go in peace. tell him that its gonna be okayy and that he has no more worries. cos death is but a natural process. from young, i wasnt afraid that one by one, people will die. i will be sad yes, and i will cry but i accept it and move on.
i also enjoyed reading about how they talk about the various topics like money, emotions, happiness etc. i felt... refreshed after reading the book!

greece beat portugal to the title!
wah.. its the tournament of the underdogs! greece won the the title and golden boot goes to... milan baros! surprise surprise.. his goals were of top quality i must say. makes me wonder how come he doesnt score for liverpool.
but greece's football is boring. ultra defensive. kinda like the italians. i actually fell asleep halfway through 1st half. luckily my dad and my bro were also watching if not i wouldnt have woken up in the 2nd half..
saw that kostas kotsouranis dude.. cute. hah. but i think, for the good of the beautiful game, i shall stop supporting teams like greece and italy who play ultra defensive games. should applaud the adventurous and the lively! holland. total football. yeah! and im slowly but surely beginning to have a soft spot for denmark. great team play.

woke up past noon today. feels great =)

oh i just went to register for my advanced theory and get my pdl.. called mr lim the driving instructor to arrange my first driving lesson too! *excited* just hope that i'll have time to complete learning driving.. cos uni life is (i forsee) gonna get very busy and exci-ring.. hahaa.
and another classic example of my indecisiveness.. i'm reconsidering as to whether to go for the sports camp. thanx to huiying who made me think twice again. wait, not twice, this is rpobably the 6th or 7th time. but ya, sports camp sounds fun! (except for the biathlon) =x

with a few minor issues to settle thou. certain links and d/ls not working properly yet. which includes icq and msn. so i still cant chat.. hopefully i'll get it sorted out real soon!

dont really like both teams but i'm rooting for greece this time. simply because there's this amazingly cute player called kostas katsouranis. never heard of him? well neither have i! see that's the advantage of being a female soccer fan. if all else fails, there're always the cute guys :p (so darren stop saying i'm watching soccer for the wrong reasons!)

really saw lots of vjcians! saw jaclyn (lingkai's gf), jiahuan, faye wong (....), siying, uhmz lots i cant rem le. saw lots of cedarians too! and woah smu has lots of babes! but guys.. okayy la. hopefully its not because there arent any but its just that they didnt go on wed! *heehee*
anw spent a looong time thinking and decided not to go for sports camp le. because of the thought of having to complete a biathlon. *scary*. i'll probably die halfway through it.
signed up for the accounts camp instead. sounds geeky? NO its not! its a retreat at sentosa! yeah! okayy.. gotta tone up my legs and tummy le!
signed up for project c.r.u.s.h for our comm service. then we ended up spending nearing 1 hr at the booth cos we starting chatting with the yr 2 biz students! so so comical. they told us what profs to avoid, who's hip and which prof goes clubbing and all that! hahaa..
then nx, tt and me headed down to funan to check out laptops. those offered by smu quite limited la..
thought through it le.. i wanna join floorball and women's soccer!

my first plan flopped. which is to wake up early, go jogging then go down to ubi to register for advanced theory and get my pdl!
went to sim lim square in the afternoon with my dad to get some stuff. oh saw this super cute caucasian! he was speaking in a european language that i dont recognise. super cute. wears glasses. good bod. cute looks!
then met bain n hongyi at zara.. hmmm zara needs a sale-upon-sale sales!
went to heeren.. ate icecream! sinful.. saw yr and kh.. ;p
hy left.. then bain n i went to funfit to buy sb. then we walked all the way back to taka stadium to get gb's prez (better appreciate it k!).. then went to nydc at wheelock place to eat dinner.. shared a sandwich and a hazelnut elephancino. yum! saw daniel who was really surprised to see us..

then we decided not to go ms for the nusbiz bash. too impromptu to go clubbing la. so we went indochine at wisma atria instead.. had a bottle of carlsberg each since it was 1 for 1. actually beer is not that bad la. just a bit dry and bitter. talked about quite some stuff.. darl i hope u werent too stunned by my responses k. oh and we drank to a lot of things =) live band was not bad. mainly alt songs. he sang "the reason" but without much emotion. no one can beat hoobastank at that!

met gb, yv, jz and wein to catch spiderman 2. i think its a nice show. but that's it. nice but not great. kind of like harry potter and the poa. nice but i expected something better. there's the funny portions but i just think something's lacking la. plus kirsten dunst only looks not bad from ONE angle. tobey mcguire is not cute at all. time for a new hair cut for peter parker la...
then met ed and bain. went to delifrance for dinner. couldnt finish my deli potato cos it was super filling n ya, i'm feeling hungry now! grrr..

its nearing 10pm le and i'm still in the office! today's my last day at work =) what a way to end it huh.
newayz, i'm waiting for everyone else to finish their work so i'm making good use of my time =)

let me see what i did the past few days..
wed-
went for matriculation at smu.
met ningxia and yvonne at abt 10.45.. oh i only knew nx is going to smu on mon nite! how dumb of me! i thought she's going ntu.. and tse tiann is going to smu too. and huiting. hahaa. so many pals..
uhm matriculation was quite messy. lots of forms and paper to hand in, sign, etc etc. photo taking was okay. i managed to talk the 'photographer' to let me see my photo before he sends it to be processed. heehee.
saw so many ppl! so many vjcians and cedarians! n i saw valene also. she's pretty. hahaa.
argh i gotta go le.. sc wants to go home le!

MY HOME COMP IS TOTALLY NUTS!!
i cant go online from home anymore from now till goodness-knows-when! argghhh!
so can only use secretively (?) in the office (like now).
i probably cant use comp for at least a week! eeekks!

so im just gonna leave some quick notes here. i'll blog when the comp is repaired!

to celia: will call u again regarding planning our dinner. msg me ur home number. i lost it when i lost my phone.
