hibernated at home over the weekend. cos sun was dad's bday so we went to celebrate it on sat. supposed to go out with some class ppl on sun but apparently, i received a msg to meet at 11.30am and guess wat? i woke up at 11.40am.. so sorrie! so i ended up watching movies by myself at home. how sad rite? acty no la. i felt good leh. like, it was a chance to spend some time with myself. watched 'win a date with tad hamilton' on sat and 'jersey girl' on sun. sure glad i didnt go to the cinemas to catch those movies. 'win a date' was a lousy show. erm i cant even tink of a comparison for it. 'jersey girl' is okayy but its not gonna worth my $6.50.. somehow liv tyler doesnt look tt pretty n ben affleck was just.. average.

was supposed to meet up with kel, bain n hy to watch shrek 2 in the evening but kel couldnt make it. so i decided to be anti social again and stayed at home.... to watch 'all in'! ha ha ha. huiying's vcds.. i just finished episode 10. slow sia.

f.r.i.e.n.d.s was a blast! i so love this sitcom. my fave ever. i really like ross! poor dude got a nightmare at tanning.. n phoebe too. and joey and rachel. ha ha ha.

anw some stuff has indeed fizzled out. as i've expected. so there's no surprising twist there. its okayy. i can take it man. since i've already expected it. its just that, u know, when it happens, its kinda hard to believe like it really happened? yeah something like that. anw nothing's ever gonna come out of it so... might as well. hah.

went back to work yesterday.. decided tt today (friday) is gonna be my last day. yesterday was the last day i get to see debbie cos she didnt come in today. passed her the assorted flavoured shortcakes i bought frm hk and she was like "the box is so cute!!" hahaa. yesterday i learnt "how much does this cost?" and "where is ___?" in french. sort of like learn the sentence structure. cool. it was a little enriching.

so it's my last day of work today. debbie didnt come in so i was rather free. incidentally, debbie's last day is next monday.. hah. uhmz really did nth much today. talked to juan, john and kelvin (separately). kelvin's the new sales consultant who's quite cute. hahaa. he's the one who took such a long time filling in the application form and the disc profiling that even i was rather stunned. have i ever mentioned him? hahaa guess not. he's really nice, giving me advice on my future. ha ha ha. john's out of his mind today. said a lot of funny stuff. today christophe taught me some more french. my last lesson with him.. and OH he n william went to creative's factory at jurong east and bought a cam for..... $25! that's freaking cheap! needless to say, we took some pics.. heehee.

oh yeah havent really explained why today is my last day at genesis. that's because shy ching msged me on wed nite asking me to go back to uob to do uat.. well i'm a bit money driven so yeah, back to uob at $6.70 an hr. gonna start next tues.

have gotta say i'll miss everyone at genesis! though i've only been there for 1 month.. its more lively there. will miss them! debbie my mentor, manager and friend, karen and joanna my good frens, soon-to-be seniors and fellow Angels, christophe my french 'teacher', chin boss, walter boss, hazel, gladys, tynny, audrey, john, leonette, kenneth, jd, elaine, weijie... will miss their antics!

went for svap meeting just now. thought it's a training meeting but yv, may n bain were there too. ends up im the one who's gotta do the report. cool. can try smthg different again. *gavin, acty i really don mind doing the report. will need help thou =)
time flies! its gonna be june soon! the main part of svap's gonna start!!
once june is over, uni orientation will be starting soon! time flies!

doing an overview of our hongkong trip here..

on the whole, the trip was fantabulous!! the company was the best i could ask for. 3 accomodating, fun, smart, interesting and cool travel mates! we are so proud of ourselves for tackling hongkong by ourselves. we didnt even have to rely on cabs to get around hk, except for the last day but tt was because we were just too tired, not because we were lost. we travelled like locals.. walked, took diff buses, ferries, trams.. cool. we just took a map and navigated ourselves. and 4 19-yr-old gals going to shenzhen on our own! i'm so proud of us. it was simply great. thx, gals!!

and yeah, hk guys are better than sg ones (sorrie, guys!).. on the ave, they look better and dress better. the dressing in hk on the whole is rather funky. stuff we wont see in s'pore. and no matter how weirdly they dress, can see that they dont feel out of place. cool.

shopping's not as crazy as i thought thou. mainly bcos i dont forsee myself wearing the clothes they wear. had a great time shopping, but nv really buy as much as i tot i would. not that i'm complaining thou =) kind of difficult buying stuff for others thou..

and people dont think "singaporeans" when they see us. most speak to us in catonese, thinking that we're hongkongers. when we give the bewildered looks and replied in chinese, they thought we're from taiwan. for those who heard us speak english amongst ourselves, they thought we're from america, korea etc.. but when we said tt we're frm s'pore, they'll be like "oh! can speak chinese.. good!" hahaa.. have to say i'm really rather proud to say that i'm a singaporean. feels good to say it out to foreigners =) and when we touched down in s'pore, i was glad to be home. like out of all the diff airports and customs i've seen, ours is the best. heck, out of all the diff police uniforms i've seen in hk n shenzhen n s'pore, ours is the nicest too! hahaa..

a wonderful trip with lots of wonderful memories. we handled hongkong alright. really have to say a huge THANK YOU to bain, yvonne and hongyi!! thx for making the trip with me and thx for the memories! yv, thx for being a good room mate. waking u up in the morning isnt as nightmarish as i tot it would be.. ;p thanx a kerzillion, gals!! love ya all lots!!!!!! lets go bangkok for shopping part 2 or to pulau redang soon!! *hUuUgGgEeEe hUgZ*

Day 1 - Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui

we touched down in hk international airport at a bit past 2pm.. went to find the tour agent who will transfer us to our hotel.. he was quite surprised to see 4 gals all on our own. oh yeah, we saw this guy who was wearing a pink shirt with china buttons and we were like "ewww" but lold and behold, we had tremendous fate.. shall elaborate later.

we stayed at Dorsett Seaview Hotel on Shanghai Street, which is next to the infamous Temple Street. the hotel is pathetically small, or like what the tour guide said, "japanese style". we cant stretch both hand horizontally while walking along the corridors! in bed, if i shift down by a bit n stretch out my legs, i can switch on the tv! if yv does the same, she can switch off the aircon! when i sit on my bed and stretch out my legs across the aisle, i can touch yv's bed! n consider my height.. hahaa. but it's adequate la.. not as thou we spend a lot of time in our rooms.

by the time we were ready to leave our rooms, it was nearing 5pm liao. we decided to head down to nathan road and granville road to start our shopping spree.. our first food in hk - egg tarts! heavenly egg tarts! it was fresh and hot and the filling was wobbly and shimmery and tasted of milk and butter and egg.. heavenly! yeah anw, we bought quite a lot of stuff.. skirts, tops, ring, necklace, some makeup, polish.. felt like a lot then but when i look at them now, its like, so little! not enough! hahaa.. then we walked down to avenue of stars.. nth much there, just that there's lots n lots of ppl and the view is really great. we could really see hongkong island.. wonderful. wanted to find people (read: 4 cute guys) to take photos with but couldnt find any.. hahaa.. in the end, we only ate dinner at 11pm or so. food wasnt really fantastic but we were damn hungry. then went to had desserts. nice! then we walked back to kowloon. all in all, think we walked abt 5-6 km, maybe even much more that day.. legs aching like crazy! walked past the street basketball courts.. wah saw this A++ guy! so so cute!! hahaa.. anw we knocked out pretty soon after we bathed, which is nearing 2am..


Day 2 - HongKong Island and Mongkok

decided to forgo the complimentary half day city tour which will bring us to repulse bay, victoria peak, wishing tree, ginseng factory, diamond factory etc.. heck we want free and easy! left hotel at abt 8am and walked all the way down to starferry terminal, which was a considerable distance away.. had breakfast at a food court thingy which was ave la.. then we redeemed our octopus card worth HKD88, which allows us to travel free! wonderful.. took a ferry to hongkong island.. ride was so bumpy, i felt a little nauseous at the end of it. took a bus to the peak (shan1 ding3).. the weather was so cooling and the view was fantabulous! woo hoo.. love it! we even took a neo print can? and we bought a signboard each, indicating "happy valley" (pao2 ma3 di4, the race course).. hahaa.. then we took a tram down the peak and took the open top bus back to star ferry.. it was way cool.. the pictures will be so damn nice! heehee..

after some debate, we decided to forgo going to ocean park (hai3 yang2 gong1 yuan2).. cos hy said her sis says s'pore's dolphin show is better and bain n yv don like those rollercoaster rides anw.. in the end we took a bus to victoria park where we heard there is a teddy bear exhibition thing by united nations. i tell u, the parks in hk are way way better than ours. we went kowloon park in the morn and now, victoria park and the parks are huge and nice. lots n lots of filipinos in victoria park thou.. prob cos its a sunday. the whole hk island was crowded by throngs and throngs of filipinos.. the teddy bear exhibition was cool.. so many diff types of bears representing diff countries.. don have s'pore thou.. love the usa bear and the cuba bear! then we went to times square, the famous department store on hk island.. it was big but the prices there are the same as those in s'pore.. didnt buy anything.. made our way back to mongkok via the mtr. shopped at fa yuen street where all the sports goods are.. thing is, they are all real stuff so the prices are steep. went to ladies market next and it wasnt too good in the beginning.. but eventually we bought bags, some tops, even towels.. hahaa..

walked all the way from mongkok to yau ma tei (you2 ma2 di4 - the mtr stop nearest to our hotel) and back to our hotel where we deposited our prizes and went to temple street to hunt for food.. had a dim sum dinner! steamed pork ribs (zheng1 pai2 gu3), glutinous rice (nuo4 mi3 fan4), prawn dumplings (har gau) n siew mai.. *yum yum* bain had some vege hor fun.. then we went desserts next door.. mixed fruits! honeydew sago! mango pudding!! heavenly.. the mango pudding was the best mango pudding i've ever ever eaten.. went back to hotel room feeling as contented as can be.. *hee hee*


Day 3 - ShenZhen

had a dim sum breakfast at an eatery.. xiao long bao, you tiao with soya milk, fried buns.. yum yum! tink we got qiao1 za4 by the eatery owner but its okayy.. its only abt HKD25 per person, which is abt S$5+ per person for a whole variety of food.. then we took the mtr from yau ma tei to kowloon tong (jiu3 long2 tang2) and changed to the kcr-east (kowloon-canton railways - east) to luo hu, the border between china and hongkong. and so the 4 adventurous gals went into shenzhen on our own!

for the first time, we took a cab.. cos we're not familiar with china.. went to windows of the world.. sort of like xiao3 ren2 guo3 where all the world's famous structure are in mininature form.. weather was a killer.. damn damn hot.. took lots n lots of photos.. had a really nice time there oohing and aahing and basically acting like tourists there.. finally left windows of the world at abt 4+pm.. took a cab to dong men to shop.. ate a not nice dinner.. bought sneakers n slippers.. not much. cos all the shops sell the same things.. left shenzhen at abt 8.30pm (our initial plan was 7pm!) and took a train back to yau ma tei.. was damn damn tired..

went to 7-11 at abt midnite to buy some milk and biscuits when we saw what made temple street infamous - druggies. serious. no wonder the 2 male hotel staff who were at the recep counter were looking at us with some concern when we left the hotel at midnite.. anw there was one man who was knocked out cold right in front of our hotel entrance. obviously high and oblivious from drugs. he was just slumped against the fence, shirtless with his undies showing from his jeans and most probably penniless too.. scary. there were ppl (read: druggies) hanging outside 7-11 eyeing us thru half glazed eyes.. scary! we quickly made our purchases and went back to our hotel.

bain n hy came over to yv's n my room after we bathed.. talked crap and played bridge.. they grilled the whole lot abt emmanuel, joseph n heehee, choco boy out of yv.. can see she was super gek man.. hahaaaha. and still got bain's story abt her 3 dudes.. hahaa.. ddl hmmm.. hahaa.. then i told yv at nite a bit abt chris la. knocked out pretty soon.


Day 4 - Kowloon Tong, Yau Ma Tei and Singapore!

went out late cos we were so so tired we couldnt get up on time.. went for a tim sum brunch at a restaurant.. steamed pork ribs, xiao long bao, fried dumplings (wo1 tie4), cheong fun, some buns, mango pudding.. yum! only HKD 88..

after breakfast, we took the mtr down to kowloon tong for some shopping.. didnt buy much. their espirit is abt the same as in s'pore. had wanted to ice skate but didnt in the end.. woah i saw one cute guy in the ice skating rink.. cute! not as cute as A++ thou ;p looks a bit like paul frm my senior class now that i come to think of it.. bought our foodstuffs.. boxes of egg rolls n shortcakes that are supposed to be very nice. it better be nice.. cos i bought nearing HKD 250 worth of stuff there.. for family n for colleagues at workplace..

took a train back to mongkok station to "hunt" for our pigeons!! the famous hk ru3 ge1.. it tasted like duck meat thou. hahaa.. ate the pigeons in a park, which incidentally, was visited by flocks of.. yep u guessed it, pigeons! hahaa.. was a little late (5 mins) in assembling at the hotel lobby. the whole bus was waiting for us.. hahaaaa. 5 mins only leh. departed for hk international airport. hanged around the airport playing bridge and hurriedly left for our gate at 7.20pm (we are to clear the gates by 7.40pm.. oops).. we were the last few to board the plane.. hahaa.

didnt i mention the tremendous fate with the pink shirt guy with china buttons earlier? well we ran into him on the plane again! he was sitting right behind me! and the thing was, we didnt realise it was him.. hy n i were still saying like "tt one quite cute".. see what a shirt can do to ur image.. hahaa. anw we cleared customs together, claimed baggage together and even shopped at dfs together. he was just in front of us at the dfs counter. and we only realised he was the same guy in the dfs shop. hahaaa. tink we were pretty obvious cos he looked rather amused at us. hahaaaaa..

hongkong!!

i'm back!!!!!!! we're back!! i'm back from hongkong!! we touched down at changi airport at abt 11.40pm last nite.. reached home at abt 12.45am this morning and was knocked out by 1+am.. slept all the way until abt half past noon today. sure glad i took leave today! anw its been a marvellous + fanntastic + fantabulous + fun + tiring trip!! the weather was okayy (shenzhen's weather was a killer thou), the food was good, the people were nice, the shopping fun and my companions are the best!! love ya, bain, hy n yv!!

would love to go into all the funny and fantastic details about 4 girls on our own in hk but that will have to wait! cos.... i have to study for btt now =( more later then! cya!!!!

today's main news is abt kwang han.. kwang yi's bro. hmmm was rather affected by it. when bain told me abt it, i couldnt really accept n believe it in the first place. it must be worse for ky. hope he's coping okayy. i didnt really have the mood to work after that. went to talk to joanna, who was really nice n told me everything tt happens for a reason and in time, we will accept and understand. i know.. i believe everything tt happens has a reason too but right now, i just cant think of any to justify the loss of a young person with such a bright future. then debbie tried to kai1 jie3 me.. she brought me out to lunch and treated me to delifrance then talked abt life and death to me. hahaa i appreciated it. it's good to have an adult's opinion. then christopher kept telling me to take things easy, tt these things happen in army, to cheer up etc. christophe taught me more french, he taught me how to say 'i am very sad today'. then he showed me his 'pet elephant' back in mauritius. hahaa. i know its fake la but it helped la.

after work, met bain, hy n yv to discuss abt our trip tmr. yesh we have a trip to hongkong tmr! tt cheered us up.. stopped by body shop to get some stuff. got a new hair brush and a lip gloss shimmer thingy. then went to hy's hse to settle what we're gonna do n where we're gonna go. so we've got it all planned out: day 1 - arrival, go around tsim she tsui area. day 2 - forgo the city tour; go to victoria peak n ocean world on our own, shop at hk island. day 3 - go to shenzhen, spend the morning and afternoon there, visit windows of the world, shop n head back to kowloon in the evening to shop at ladies market. day 4 - kowloon again, maybe go to the business district.

finally going hk tmr! we're gonna have a wonderful wonderful trip and i'll come back with lots of beautiful memories. i'll try to get something for u guys! (shoes, sneakers, polo shirts, bags, po luo baos.. these are just some of the orders i got....)

yeah! edwin, weizhi, guobin and tianhao got offers from smu! i dunoe where gb is going thou. last time i asked, he prefers ntu.. well think carefully dude, and once u made up your mind, stick to it ya.. anw i know th's been practically dreaming of going smu.. okayy maybe not dreaming but he's definitely bent on going smu. u got ur wish! congrats, brother!! and wein's been wanting to go smu too.. well wein, i dont know if u read my blog but if u do read it, cOnGraTs!! now it's true that we're gonna be uni mates! hahaa =p.. ed, i'm glad u chose smu and not ntu engine.. hahaa. u made a good choice ;p. i'm getting crazy la. hahaa. anw, see u guys in smu 2 yrs later! (oops i didnt mean to suan army.. i swear!)

anw, watched f.r.i.e.n.d.s last night!! it was way way good. it shows the characters of all 6 friends marvellously.. was tickled silly by monica's problem with her dreadlocked hair and the way chandler reacted, and the scene between joey and rachel when they literally 'cant get ross out of their heads'.. hahaaaaha. phoebe was the best last night thou =)

uhm okayy.. today harry said i'm his favourite angel. hahaa. because i helped him find the laminating materials and also helped him do up his list for anderson pri. so practical. hahaaaha.. then today j.d. goes on his usual routine to go around borrowing nokia handphone charger. he always does that. talk abt chargers, john tried to borrow samsung charger from me yesterday. and he spoke to me in cantonese although he knows i cant speak canto. but i understood him okayy. he just spoke rubbish very quickly and tried to trick me into thinking he's talking about chargers. ha ha ha.

anw, i learnt the remaining of the alphabets from christophe today. it's a little weird and a bit difficult to pronounce them. and he taught, no i asked him to teach me how to say "what the hell" in french. he was so reluctant to say it initially cos he said there's no "what the hell".. it's more like "what the f***" and can be even ruder than that. he said smthg like "aiyoh why you want to learn bad words? i can teach u 'the sky is blue' etc mah".. hahaa. but in the end he did teach me the word but he refused to say the exact meaning. oh well. hahaa. alright tmr i shall ask him to teach me "the sky is blue".

smallville is on tonight! way to go! and bain darling ah, tom welling IS cute okayy! better than edison, utt and keanu. although they are cute too. but tom welling is better. and chris martin is sexy too! hahaa..

yesterday we were supposed to have a class movie or at least a class lunch but it was postponed due to lack of response. oh well. hah. in the end chris asked me out to help him get a present for his friend. ha haa. so we met at orchard in the afternoon. had a good time laughing at all the stupid stuff on display. then in the end he suggested watching troy.. so we just went to watch troy at cine.. ahh cine is the most comfy cinema. anw thought the movie is rather good. it sticks to the mythology pretty well. chris actually could explain the mythology behind the movie to me! abt how the battle of troy began, the hecter vs achilles battle, the 2 coins on the eyes of the dead (for the boat man) and of cos, a shot thru achilles' heel which would kill him. i thought the hecter vs achilles battle was damn good and the myth abt the boat man to be.. intriguing. acty i remembered i once did a reading review on the trojan war for my jc 1 gp lesson. cool. brad pitt was good, so was eric bana. but man, orlando bloom was a loser man. hahaa hope all the orlando fans out there wont bash me up ;p

anw, the talk with bain on thurs and then with bain and hy on friday has indeed got me thinking more about me and my morals and beliefs in life, esp when it comes to stuff like clubbing. like i said, thurs with bain was thereupatic cos it helped to clear my mind and calm me down. fri with the both of them gave me a different perspective, esp with hy around. and i mean it in a very good way. now as i think back, i cant say i had regrets wrt how i felt when clubbing but then again i cant say i did the right thing too. guess when it comes to what i really meant when i said the above, only i would know. stuff like, exactly how open minded am i, how far i would go when i'm not perfectly sober? not far, i know, but.. i just wonder la. like when we talked about "we know its not correct so why do we still allow it to happen?" i wonder how firm i will stand to my moral beliefs when it comes to stuff like clubbing. one thing is clear though: i have to and i am going to stay away from clubbing for at least 3 weeks. i sure hope i can stick by that.

enough said. today i learnt a bit more french from christophe. he's actually a mauritian. how cool. anw he taught me how to say "i'm hot". in both ways. both the weather hot and the sexy hot. hahaa. we had a good laugh about it. then i learnt how to say "i cant speak french" in french. hahaaa. and i also learnt a to g in french. enough input. tomorrow i'm gonna learn the rest of the alphabets. heehee! it's so interesting. acty i found out that leonette and j.d. can speak french too. cool.

something that has been present for the past few days is missing today. normally i wouldn't have thought much about it. but today, i'm feeling it. weird. got a feeling it doesnt bode well. okayy shit it got me confused. bloody shit.

anw, took a chance and went out with chris yesterday.. had wanted to watch troy but we couldnt get tix so we watched van helsing in the end.. it was quite an okayy movie la. wasnt really fantastic but was quite funny. and i feel rather sorry for frankenstein's monster. he's harmless to humans but yet he has to leave in the end, even thou dracula and his offsprings were killed. and why did the female lead have to die? i thought that for sure she wont die one.. but the show a bit too unbelievable la.. swinging here and there like no one's business..

had dinner at crystal jade at shaw where we simultaneously ordered the porridge.. hahaa. he's a nice person la.. talks a lot. told me abt his stories in sispec and ocs. got me laughing. actually i was a bit apprehensive abt meeting him la. i was a bit scared that i wont recognise him. but no la, can recognise. he was very nice abt it la. oh i told him abt our impending hk trip too and he started telling me where to go and what things are nice in hk.. seems like he likes shopping too.. hahaa. den he said he can pass me the booklet abt hk. way cool.

by the time the movie ended, it was already 11+ and he just offered to send me home, even thou he lives in bishan and we are travelling in opp directions wrt orchard mrt.. how sweet. den in the end he missed the last bus back instead.. and he was damn amused by how terrified i am of xiao qiang (we ran into 3 along the way.. eeks!).. anw, agreed with bain.. older guys are thoughtful.. although D is older rite *wInKz*

going to hongkong le!!!

on fri, me, bain darling, hongyi and yvonne went down to our travel agent at chinatown area to confirm our trip to hongkong le! YAYYYY!!!! cant wait! so our 4d3n trip is gonna cost us $488 plus another $400 or so shopping shopping shopping!! heehee.. really cant wait! finally we're going overseas le.. wow this is a list of things i wanna get:

by the time we confirmed out trip, it was nearing 9pm liao so i didnt go for the svap meeting.. so sorrie! went to have dinner with bain n hy.. den we went uhm, mac to talk.. in the end i told hy abt wed nite also. hee hee. got a feeling yv will know soon too.. shall see la. ;p

okayy okayy i went clubbing again last nite. which means i wont, wont be going next week le.. have got to maintain my "stay-home time". went with karen and joanna and their smu friends last nite. bain didnt come at the last min. so there were me, karen, joanna, rachel, yili, jasmin, amy, joyce, cant remember liao. 2 more. went dbl O to drink first. had a sweet sensation (which tasted like cough syrup), a tequila sunrise (like orange juice), a tequila shot and a vodka sprite. wasnt as stoned as last week thou. went to phuture aft that. that place was crowded like crazy. no space to move. we squeezed in and then took abt 15 to 20 mins to squeeze out. went zouk to dance.. this guy yeazid approached jo.. then his grp of frens came over. got to know this guy called christopher. uhm no comments as of yet. oh yeah, saw tingjun (s63). he was as shocked to see me as i was shocked to see him. went back to phuture to dance.. damn damn crowded man.
left at 3 when they close.

chris tried to ask me out to watch troy today. uhm i was pretty afraid he may have high expectations so i rejected him str. went to bain for coffee at starbucks instead. darling u're so so wonderful! thanx thanx thanx for today!! u never knew how much good it did to me.. told her lots of stuff.. darling keep it to yourself k! hahaa..

anw, now the guys in our office call me, jo n karen charlie's angels. i'm Angel 3 cos i'm youngest. hahaa.. harry started it.. he's really crappy. then john n j.d. followed suit. super comical man. at least my work place is getting interesting. my work is just as boring though. very zuo bo today. ended up calling travel agency to plan our trip to hk! heehee..

today christophe taught me this phrase. made a deal with christophe-the-chinese-who-speaks-french-not-chinese. he's gonna teach me french if i promise to teach him chinese. hah i say good luck to him. my chinese.... let's just say his french is better than my chinese. *shame* anw he taught karen to count frm 1 to 10 until he almost fainted. hahaa. luckily i know how to count from 1 to 10 liao.
we successfully tried to trick joanna (karen's smu friend who's working with us now) into believing that christophe is 35 (chris is 23). and the first comment she made was "which anti-wrinkle cream do u use?" hahaa she's so funny.
anw joanna happily asked if we wanna go zouk tmr. apparently nanyang biz sch is having a bash. hmm tempted but we just went last week! so dont think i'm going. but u never know. i got psychoed by bain last week. haiz.

anw i think i have given up on 'cold mountain' liao. too much narration, i got lost and bored. am halfway thru 'just friends' thou. super funny. my bro thought i went mad last night. =)

went out with edwin yesterday.. met to watch kill bill vol 2. uhmm the movie is kinda draggy in the beginning when they were explaining how the massacre at el pasco wedding came about. have to watch vol 1 to know what they were talking about. some parts of the movie were quite funny, esp when the bride goes to learn kunfu from pai mei., am tickled by the way pai mei flicks his beard and his 'five point exploding heart' technique. and when the bride dug out elle driver's remaining eye. somehow i had a feeling that would happen. it's just so tempting to dig out her other eye. hah. but it was gross when the bride stepped on the eyeball.

uhm went to 'that cd shop' at pacific plaza and then smc at cine to check out cds that ed wanted to get. cant find them thou. had wanted to eat dinner at swensons at crown prince but the queue was long so we went to baker's inn at plaza sing instead. ran into shihui and rina on the way. havent seen her in a long time.. oh yeah, the food at baker's inn was not bad.. had some pasta then shared the dessert. which was super good. ice cream in between some bread thingy with choc fudge and almond flakes. mm mmmm! desserts are the best! hahaa..

went to my gran's for dinner cos of mother's day.. food was okayy.. saw mq. realised i havent seen xz for a long time.. we used to be rather close when we were young. just sort of drifted away when we entered sec sch and she got herself a bf. havent seen jason, christine, serene they all for some time too.. maybe i'll ask them along when i wanna go clubbing next time..

got psychoed by bain for the whole of yesterday to go zouk. i was initially quite sure that i wont be going but.. yeah, got psychoed by her. met her and yv at orchard mrt station n made our way down to zouk. met ruo and grace at the entrance. later we ran into guangyi and zhiwei also.. heard that zw was quite shocked to see us there. hahaa he must have thought we're too guai1 to go zouk.. anw went into zouk and got 4 vodka limes for the 3 of us. then we found bain's cousin, kian (i think). oh he's really cute! hahaa.. he offered us the large mug of long island he was holding in his hands, then later treated us to a tequilla shot each. thanx! then we danced a while and then yv wanted to go and find her friend / colleague who's outside zouk. we went with her to the passageway thingy and decided to wait for her there. by then i was a little drunk and rather high. hah. couldn't really stand straight and stupid kian kept teasing me about it. when he's not any much better either. i just remembered i kept grabbing on to him and bain to avoid getting lost and falling all over the place.. got chased away by security who didnt allow us to wait at the passageway thingy so we headed to the dance floor instead. didnt see yv again until she decided to go home at 1+.. music was good, much better than chinablack.. danced like crazy.

then we decided to head on into phuture to look for grace, ruo, gy they all. found grace and ruo and ruo's friends but didnt find gy and co. phuture was jammed full of people as usual. its too crammed and too stuffy so me, bain n grace went back to zouk to continue dancing and downed another tequila.. had great fun dancing with the 2 of them, kian and kian's friends! that's the thing with me: once i get started, i dont feel like leaving.. our initial plan was not to get drunk and to leave at 1+ but i got half drunk and danced till 2.30 instead.. finally tore ourselves away from the dance floor..
shared a cab with bain n gy, reached home, washed up and was knocked out by 3+.. didnt sleep well. woke up at 5, went back to sleep again and peeled myself off the bed at 7 to go to work..

yesterday and today, the management has gone for a retreat so in the words of karen, no government! super slack at work and i've got pratically nothing to do. even volunteered to do up the "corporate chart". which is the sitting plan in the office wing la.
went to meet joyce at city hall yesterday after work to pass my nic sparks book to her and to get 'just friends' and the 'all in' vcds from her. then went to esprit to get liquid foundation n loose powder for my mum as mothers' day prez. saw xilin raising funds so i stopped to donate and chat with her for a bit la..
. okayy i must finish reading cold mountain brfore moving on to 'just friends'. the due date is 15 may.

have finished watching kill bill 1! it was such a .... gruesome show. not exactly gruesome. not pleasant either. but a very nice show. cos it has got me wanting to to know the ending!

went down to smu today to pay the $300. yepz so i've chosen smu. hafta thank karen for helping to clear my mind. tianhao, good luck for your econs interview! nic shifu, dont worry, u'll get your interview soon la. all the best too. yeah, anyone else has confirmed their admission to smu? do let me know ya..

someone punch my bro pls. he's acting like he has every right to use the comp every single night for hours and hours when he has mid yrs coming up in 2 or 3 weeks. why is he so insensible. and when i dont allow him to use it and make him study, he throws tantrums and make it sound like i'm the most unreasonable b***h in the world. he's insensible and childish and irritating. damn.

yesterday was facilitators' retreat. uhm it went okayy i guess. janet looked so familiar, its like i've seen her somewhere before. i thought hong ming looked a little like timothy. yesh my sp the pole vaulter. was rather afraid games would be a flop but it was okayy. icebreakers were fine cos ppl were co-operative. thank goodness. afternoon games were just okayy. werent fantastic. we definitely have got to think of better games.

was feeling really down yesterday afternoon when we were out preparing for games. it's just like i was hit by a bout of really shitified emotions. desolation, isolation, loneliness, disgusted at myself. hah it sounds like i'm exaggerating right? i dont know, maybe i am. shant say no more. ::sigh::

had wanted to buy our singles ring but didnt in the end. wanted to go to far east square at raffles place for dinner. passed by this place where we saw people dancing! so nice.. in the end we enquired and the dance teacher only charges $35 a month! so we have decided to go for it. anyone else wanna learn dancing? it's like line dancing but there's modern dance, latin, country, pop etc. on thurdays, 7.30 - 9pm at somewhere near lavender mrt station. which is about $5.80 per hour. so far there's me, bain, kel, hy, yv and maybe huiying. anyone else interested?

den we (me, bain, kel, hy) went to clark quay and sat by the riverside.. just chat a bit here and there and sang a lot of songs. hahaa. loved it a lot. its like, the only thing on my mind was how to sing the song, all the other troubles are shot. oh well.

lately i've been feeling like i'm missing something in life. i dont know what. maybe that's why i was feeling kinda down yesterday. oh well like someone said, when things reach the bottom, the only way it can move is up. oh yeah. am waiting for that to happen.
